July Press Round Up

It's a new month, (yes really, it's August! Really it is. No really...) and that means a look back at the press we got last month. Starting off with....

The 4th Floor, the super cool menswear magazine. We love this moody black and white shoot.
Company magazine - featuring our sequined Prayer shorts that have been shouted about by celebs and press. Check them out in The Independent later in this post.
If you wear anything on your eyes this summer, make it a pair of round lense sunnies by Religion. Elle - they know where it's at.
Here they are! As featured in The Independent in a dreamy shoot about whites, our sequined Prayer shorts.
These round lense, half black, half perspex beauties sold out nationwide after being featured in the magazine that every female commuter loves - Stylist of course.
From Shoreditch to South Africa. Take a look at our Union Jack leggings as featured in Grazia SA.
And finally, we were listed in Drapers in July - our womenswear getting the #4 and our menswear getting the #5 spot in the best selling independent brands of the week. Keep up the good work shoppers!

Prayer Shorts - the must have sequined short

Waxed, buffed, moisturised, tanned - we've been waiting for the sun to come out for weeks so that we can get our summer-prepped legs out. This weekend the perfect solution, our sequined Prayer shorts were featured in The Independent in a piece all about white summer items. These shorts are ideal for summer strolls, festivals, nights out or lazy days in the park.

Giving the Prayer shorts a chic smart twist, The Independent paired them with a stud collared shirt.

Come and get 'em! You can buy the Prayer shorts in either black or white in Religion stores or online at House of Fraser

The all-over sequin embellishment speaks for itself, so you can go simply monochrome when dressing them up or down. Try a loose vest and killer black heels.

Cara Kilbey from TOWIE looks incredible in her pair - spotted here at Wireless festival. She's worn the Prayer shorts with a Religion Universe shirt, a splash of colour with her red bag, and an enviable tan.
It's not just The Independent who love these shorts - Company mag repped them last month and recommended them for summer festivals too.

Team GB - wardrobe overhaul

Red, white and blue... Union Jacks... bunting... it's been one hell of a summer for British patriotism but the fun isn't over yet. The Olympics start a week today and it's time to get your wardrobe ready: long jumping in skinny jeans, synchronised swimming in sequinned shorts. No? Ok - this Team GB kit is for spectators only:

Come on in...

Ta daahhh! We've just had a shiny new sign installed above our store on Portobello Road, so we're sharing with you the shop fronts of our three standalone stores in Portobello, Brick Lane and Shoreditch. Never dropped by before? Come on in, say hello and have a look around...

The best store in West London? We think so. 257 Portobello Road, W11 1LR

The first of our three stores to open, our Brick Lane store is slap bang in the centre of the East London cool-iverse. 154, Brick Lane, E1 6RU

There's a bench outside our Shoreditch High Street store for when shopping gets just that bit too much. Have a breather, then get back to it. 128 Shoreditch High Street, E1 6JE

TOWIE wear Religion at Wireless

The TOWIE lot are no stranger to a bit of Religion, and who else should Cara, Jess and Tom pick as their outfitters for Wireless festival last weekend? Never before has festival chic been so immaculate - these guys laugh in the face of mud...

Cara and Billie look top notch - what mud?!?
Cara wore the Universe Shirt ...
... With our sequinned Prayer Shorts
Jess was festival ready in head to (almost) toe Religion.

She paired our Root parka....
With a Queen of Hoxton Vest, and our Prayer shorts.
It's a double whammy for Jess - she wore Religion on both days of the festival.

And looked so stunning in this piece, the Union Jack cardigan
And last but not least, lovebird Tom Kilbey looked slick in our Ghost tee and Baron Jeans
