Good Friday Fun!

The sun is shining, you've had a 4 day week and now you have a spare day. What are you going to do? Well if you are around the Shoreditch area, and have a spare few hours after popping into our Shoreditch store, why not go on the Shoreditch Street Art Trail for something a little bit more sophisticated than searching for Easter Eggs (save that for East Sunday!)

You can start anytime between 12-8, a team costs £16 but you can have teams of any amount of people so if you can round up 3 of your friends and it will cost the same as a Magners! Starting at 11 Hoxton Square, it's a 3 hour trail so perfect to fill the time between your pub lunch and your evening drink.

Here is a bit more about the Art Trail...

We’ve all seen it: weird, wacky, political, cute, funny and sometimes just plain rude. That’s street art. But you may be surprised by how much you’ve missed. We’ll help you find it with the HiddenCity Shoreditch Street Art trail. Take to the streets with your friends and see urban art in a different way: a trail of clues by text message.

HiddenCity is a mobile game that transforms a city into an experience. Sign up online, bring your mobile phone and a map and get ready to discover your city. Each clue takes you to a hidden location where you are challenged to search your surroundings to find the answer. Your goal is to complete all the clues and reach the final hidden cafe, pub or bar.

Ideal for groups of two to four people, HiddenCity is a social way to discover - or re-discover - your city. You can also play the game as a competitive event by entering multiple teams, contending against each other to be the fastest to complete a trail. After the event, you’ll be able to log on to the HiddenCity website to compare your scores.

From Banksy to Invader, Sweet Toof to Stik, the Shoreditch Street Art Trail is the ideal hunt for anyone who wants to see what street art is all about. You’ll encounter pieces in all shapes and sizes and we’ll tell you the artists behind the work. Not only will it make you think twice, you’ll also be left wondering how on earth it got there!

We’ve rated the difficulty of this trail as ‘easy-medium’.

You can play on any day of the week, starting any time between midday and 8pm. It takes about three hours to complete and includes breaks at two of our favourite bars.

So stop wasting your day, and get out into the sunshine and go on an Easter (art) hunt! Click here to get started!

HAPPY EASTER!
