You Spin Me Right Round

Did we mention that round lense sunglasses are BIG news this summer? Oh.... we did already? Once more couldn't hurt though right?

Our perspex round lenses have been none-stop-popping-up in the press, and here is the latest: our Sun 17 specs in Stylist. They won a coveted spot on Stylist's 'The Style List' earlier this week - and rightly so. They've got a vintagey-contemporary-rocking-monochrome vibe that's flattering and, you know what, SO summer 2012.

Religion in print - June 2012

Did anyone notice Religion while reading the fashion magazines last month? We did! Here is a selection of our press coverage:

The Foreign sweat is a must have for festival go-ers. See? Sunday Times Style says so!

Menswear publications have officialy been going kraykray over our Hawaiian and tropical print shirts this season. FHM picked our St. Tropez shirt as one of their top 4 styles.

Drapers, the fashion industry bible profiled our womenswear SS13 collection. How amaze are these fashion illustrations by Jasmijn, our womenswear designer?

 Fiasco is the uber cool fashion and lifestyle mag and we're regular readers over at Religion. In their high street edit, they featured not one but two top-to-toe Religion outfits.

We're finishing with a high note. Spain's Mujerhoy magazine took our Kiss dress to a whole new level.... tribal! We love the eccentric and colourful styling in this picture.

Jessie J wears Religion

Jessie J chose her outfit well when selecting what to wear for a performance in Belgrade this week. She paired a knotted, patterned crop top with our statement Falling shorts. The Falling shorts are high waisted with leather fringing that hangs below the hem of the shorts. They're a real party piece so throw on your heels, slick on some smokey eye make up, and you've got yourself an outfit.

Religion Represented by Aleluya at Sonar Festival

Earlier this month, Religion was represented at the annual Sonar festival in Barcelona by our client Aleluya. Sonar has been going strong since 1994, a pioneering festival in its combination of entertainment with artistry, the avant garde and experimentation. We feel right at home at Sonar.

Sonar by day includes concerts, showcases, an exhibition area and more. That's when the festival go-ers swung by Aleluya's Religion stand and snapped up their outfits for their evening ahead. Sonar by night transforms the city and presents the leading names on the international music landscape.

Dakota Fanning wears Religion

Dakota Fanning: Hollywood sweetheart, acclaimed actress and surely the only eighteen year old who's wardrobe you'd want to raid. Oh, and did we mention Religion fan? Dakota was seen on the streets of LA this week wearing our Hopper Jacket (named after the legendary star of Easy Rider, Dennis Hopper), which is made in a slightly distressed black leather, with cross-hatched stitching on the lapel and elbow patches.
