A/W13 // Start Layering

Just when you're used to bearing it all, it's time to layer up again. Start sneaking some layers into your looks this weekend, like a thin statement knit under a leather. Or for the guys, throw and Ombre knit under your jacket for extra outfit kudos.

Style Focus // The Pink Dress

The new season at Religion hails the new spectrum of colours, and The Pink Dress (don’t be mislead by the name) is one of the best showcases of the new palette. Majolica Blue (an Autumnal teal) and Blood Red are two of the colour options for this dress, plus of course classic Black.

The Pink Dress features a trim of gloss and matte bugle beads, a low cowl back and a delicate string of beads across the shoulders. We love its simple silhouette, but with the delicate detailing it’s a real day-to-night number. While the sun is out, wear it with bare legs and a chunky heeled sandal. When it gets cooler, add opaque tights and killer shoe-boots. Not forgetting a fist full of silver rings and a striking lip (we’d go for bright red or dark berry). Scroll down for more styling options straight from A/W13.

The Pink Dress in Black
Blood Red colour version

Works best with a chunky heel a lot of leg!
As seen in the A/W13 lookbook

Try The Ludwig Jumper over the Pink Dress for a colour clash wirh a hint of the detail

Dress The Pink Dress down with The Victim Cardigan

Or work it in the evening with The Conception Cardigan on top

Blood Red and leather is a killer combination. Try The Pink Dress with The Sharp Jacket

A/W13 collections are making their way in to stores. Shop the latest pieces of the collection in Shoreditch, Portobello and Brick Lane.
