Halloween Inspiration

Sexy witches and horny devils are SO Halloween 2011. Read on for Halloween costume inspiration direct from our Shoreditch High Street store.

The Olsen Maxi is the best way to play the Corpse Bride - pair with ripped lace and smudged black lips.
Our Flag Kimono is embellished with velvet birds - perfect for playing fortune tellers or witches.
Lace details give a Halloween outfit a chicer edge.
Our Witch Sweatshirt is available in Religion stores and online at ASOS.
More is most definitely more on Halloween. Sequins on satin on velvet on sequins is a good look.
For the guys - a heavy overcoat can double as an undertakers coat.
Or distressed leather would take your zombie outfit to the next level.
Laddered knits can work as spider webs or extreme moth holes!
If you're stuck for something to do this Halloween our friends at Bedroom Bar are hosting a Halloween special including live music and free facepaint.... what's not to love?! Click here for the details.

We've got Baggage

Think you've got problems? Well we've got serious baggage. Clutches, grab bags, shoulder bags: the works.
The Armour Bag is a bestseller for Autumn/Winter 2012 - it's tough, chic and has a day-to-night adjustable strap.
If you're the type to carry spare shoes, make up, magazines et al wherever you go, you need the Majestic large shoulder bag. Perfect for handbag hoarders.
We love this round, hard case clutch in bright red. This bag makes travelling light easy.
Jewellery and clutch bags - it's a winning combo. The Majestic Crown Ring Clutch covers all your accessorising needs in one.

Subtle studs and a cinched in waist make up the Defence Shoulder Bag. Sling it over your shoulder or wear it in the crook of your arm for the layered up winter look.

All these bags and more are available in Religion stores.

Badass Leathers and Slick Tailoring: Wrapping up Autumn

You've got two choices for Autumn - snuggle up in your slippers or throw on your best leathers and party on. We're doing the latter. Here's how:

An Autumnal mantra for you: leather is your friend. It looks cool, gets better with age, and best of all, it really comes into it's own when mixed up with knits, scarves and chunky layers.

The Ceremony Jacket is a perfect mash up of classic leather styling (big lapels and diagonal zip) with unique twists, like the fabric front panel and zip embellishments. It's also that little bit longer than your classic leathers which gives a sleeker silhouette.

Leather doesn't get tougher than this. The Lynch jacket combines butter soft, distressed leather with badass, dont-mess-with-me spikes.

All great leathers call for a slouchy knit. The Miton Knit has Rock Star style written all over it and is screaming out to be paired with an edgy leather piece. Wear over a coloured vest or tee for a bright pop.

Our Guilty Jeans are another winner with leather. We've got brand new colours in store now so come and find your favourite hue!

The leather theme continues into menswear. This Morbid Jacket is trimmed with leather and cuts a seriously sharp silhouette . It's part of our Black Label collection which is in stores now.

The Broken Jacket is another key piece in our Black Label collection. A modern take on classic Prince of Wales check - now's the time to bring out your inner gent.

There's also a matching waistcoat and trousers - wear them all together for a slick, dapper look.

If sharp tailoring is your thing, simple shirts are essential. Go for the Dimitri Shirt in white, or for a more casual edge try the Blake shirt (below) in chambray.

Find the Religion Autumn Winter 12 collection in our stores or online at Serene Order.
